 THE ARTISTS WAY…(WITH A TWIST)

We are all artists! We are artists because we are alive! Designed to stimulate creative juices, give us an opportunity to talk about our art, or discover our art, this group, which is two-fold, is based on the book "The Artists Way" by Julia Cameron. The first part, which is the book study, will help us:

Work through the blockages that keep us from our true potential
Discover and further develop our talents
Find the inspiration, the Muse, excitement for true living
Explore spontaneity
Have fun exploring different creative adventures
Regard all life as a creative endeavor

THE TWIST (the second part): This is more than being able to do anything artistic. This is about living a life that makes us happy. In these classes, each participant gets equal time to share, following specifications developed to enhance individual creativity and promote positive feedback for self and others. The goal is respect and acceptance of all work, play, and personal creations which in turn allows the artist inside the freedom to fly.

We will have the opportunity to talk about:
Trials and errors
What we've given up for our art
What gets in the way of our being an artist
The process of our individual creativity

Sasha brings a special energy to any group. Using her unique training in Leadership, Healing Tao and other Healing Arts (plus, life itself,) she provides an atmosphere of safety, openness, and acceptance in the model she presents while providing a variety of ideas and philosophies.

"I can hand out the crayons, but it is up to you to decide how you want to color your palette."

This group is for anyone with the desire to create; fine artist to struggling amateur to someone not sure they have artistic talent.
